    Default Tripolymer Insulation

Can anyone tell me the pro's and con's of Tripolymer insulation. I believe this is the type of foam insulation the TOH teams have been raving about...but I am not sure.

I already understand the differences between closed cell and open cell polyurethane foam...just wondering how effective this Tripolymer material is for old homes, where you do not want to remove the siding.

    Thank you!!

Tripolymer is open and closed cell, 60% open 40% closed.
The only economical choice for a retro fit application
    very efficient
    highest r-value 5.1 per inch

there still has to be an injection point, inside or out you choose, most siding can be removed and reinstalled with no problems. most people never can tell
