    Question Concrete Porch Overlay

My contractor did a lousy job on a new concrete porch. It vexes me everytime I drive up to the house. Some in the neighborhood are covering older porches with brick pavers but I'm not sure how those will wear in winters and over the long haul. I've seen tile used with the edges of steps in a limestone-look bullnose tile. Does this seem practical for Midwest snow and ice? I'm also concerned that any imperfections will be apparent. Any other ideas on camouflaging the flaws of the work?

Gravel, Screed or lawn. Better still, move! Sorry, just kidding. As said in the previous post, we would really need to see the drive.
