Faucet Spout Drips During Shower
Hello, my wife and I bought a forclosure home back in April and it needs sum upgrades to say the least. My current problem is the shower. To explain the problem I feel I should back track a bit. Originally the house did not have a shower, but thankfully the tub was surrounded in tile and the faucet end of the tub was in the middle of the room (instead of through the exterior wall). So to make it a shower we simply built a wall above the faucet to the ceiling and ran a pipe through the wall for a shower head up above. Now, the problem, when we made it into a shower I installed a spout that had a diverter for the shower. From the get go when we took a shower the spout would have a steady drip. I have replaced the washers in the handles, and replaced the spout itself. Now with the new spout the water pressure out the spout is much stronger and even when the diverter is down the cold water comes out of the shower head.
Someone PLEASE Help!!!
P.S. Sorry I was so long winded.
