I have a house which has electric radiant heat flooring, I was thinking that if I use a pellet stove that might cut down on my electric bill during the winter months. But my concern is that the water might end up freezing in the pipes in the concrete slab foundation of the house. Also I was thinking about replacing the carpet with laminate flooring and so, my other concern was that the pellet stove might cause irregular heat and possible warp the laminate flooring. Any thoughts or opinions? Thanks.
