    Default Kitchen Floor Replacement

I want to replace the Kitchen floor with Oak hardwood to match the dining room. I need to rip out the sub floor to bring it down 3/4". How can I cut the sub floor at the toe-kick under the cabinets so I can remove it. Obviously, I don't want to remove the cabinets.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I think I'd use a Sawzall and cut it as close as I could to the toe kick. It's going to be a little tricky, hanging on to the saw but just keep it at as much of an angle to the floor as you can and it'll make it easier on you. You'll have to put some kind of baseboard back down to cover the edge but you should be OK.

    Good Luck.
