    Default Corroded terminals in thermostat

    Could someone tell me the easiest way to clean corroded terminals?

    Emery cloth or even those emery bords used for doing nails will work.
    After you get them clean use a die-electric grease to coat the terminal and prevent further corrosion.

    The finest wet or dry sandpaper 300 or 400 grit works well too. Available is car stores. It doedn't leave any grit behind, but in a t-stat it may not matter much.
