Default Brass pex fittings to galvanized

Can brass pex fittings be connected to galvanized without dielectric union?

????? Brass has always been used for connecting to galvanized--brass valves, PRV's, faucets, check valves, etc.

Not saying plastic is wrong, but what's wrong with brass?

Will it corrode like copper to galvanized?

I have never had one corrode. I would pick brass over plastic every time.
