I'm curious about your thought for pricing. I have a small 8x9ft kitchen. The main countertop is 8ft long between 2 walls. So I'd like to install some mosaic tile behind it. The dimensions are 8ft x 4.5 inches, and I'd like to tile the sides on the walls 12 inches up and 22 inches deep. I bought 10ft of tile to have some extra. It's one inch glass mosaic.

I'm not great with finishing touches, so I'd rather have someone else install the tile, what do you think my price range would be?

A friend of mine said his guys would do it for $200 and another guy reccomended by arectectual ceramics bid $450.

The job's really small so I can't seem to justify 450.

I'm also curious, as far as imperfections in the wall go, how much depth will the thin set fill? I've been patching holes in the wall where the faucet's valves used to be, before the new countertop, and I've noticed about one 1/4th of an inch of the finish coat of the plaster is missing. Should the wall be perfect, or can the adhesive fill gaps?

Thanks so much for the advice...
