    Default Removing paint on trim/doors

I have a beautiful old house with beautiful trim and wood doors - unfortunately during previous paintings people have NOT been careful and there are paint splatters and swipes in random places on the wood doors and wood trim. How can I remove this paint to tidy up the look of the trim without damaging the wood? I'd like to NOT have to refinish the wood if at all possible as the finish is otherwise in good shape.

If you are careful you can use a push sc****r and if your woodwork and floors were shellaced or polyed most of these paint spots will just pop off. A small glazing tool with a one inch blade that is not too sharp will work pretty well.
