We have a 1900s all brick house in northern KY. All ceilings and walls are plaster. Rock foundation, steam heat and only window cooling units. In the summer the house swells and in the winter in shrinks so much that on ground floor the wood floor gets a small hump in one area. However this summer we were in a drought and the house has swelled to the point that we have 3/4" cracks along the seems of the ceiling and walls upstairs and down. HELP! How can We repair and prevent??
