    Default covering parquet flooring

    need to know if you can cover old parquet flooring with new tongue and groove laminate flooring.

    Yes, you probably could, but why would you want to? By overlaying the parquet, your transitions to other types of flooring will be more difficult and you'll likely have clearance issues at doors and the dishwasher. It might take a bit of elbow grease to get the parquet up, but you'll be happier and have fewer problems with the new floor if you do.
