How to trim foam insulation...looking for experience
Have a friend in process of building a new house. He is in the insulation stage of the exterior walls and is doing the foamed-in type. He appears to be very happy with the results and outcome.
However, when he speaks of trimming the insulation, it sounds as though it is a rather time-consuming and tedious process.
I was wondering if there are any experienced insulators / professionals who might have a tip / trick as to how to trim the foam the easiest / quickest way before applying the drywall.
I didn't ask him specifics, but I gather / assume that they are doing it by hand with blades of some sort.
What else is out there that would speed this process along and would be more efficient?
Thanks to all who reply with there knowledge, experience and expertise.
