    Default Elephant Ears

Hi again - I planted Elephant eras and did it grow, huge leaves. What an awesome plant. Now it is winter and the the leaves died. Si i cut them dug it up and put it in a planter. I placed it in my house with the stems still sticking out. How do i preserve it so I can plant next year in the yard. Should I cut the stems off to the soil or leave as it and water occasionally? Should it be in a cool place or can it be where it is warm?

    Thanks.
