    Could be several things...all of which you will probably need an HVAC contractor to diagnose. It could be any, or any combination of the following:

    - Oversized unit
    - Unit low on refridgerant
    - Incorrect duct sizing
    - Clogged or undersized filter
    - Inccorect fan speed

    I would call the company that installed the unit to fix the problem.

    I had a similar problem in my two story house - my problem was that I had closed too many vents in an attempt to get more cool air in some rooms, and less in others. Check to see if you have closed or clogged vents. Opening or unclogging them might help.
