    Default Replacing a Screen Porch

I have a screened porch that is 15ft above ground level. The current screen windows are basically from floor to ceiling. The window openings only have screen.

I have small children and they can never use the porch because I am afraid of the screen windows. I thought about closing part of the window, but that will make the porch look ugly and expensive.

Anyone have any ideas of what I can do? I was thinking about E-Z windows but I read they are not water proof.

Have you thought about using narrow boards or pvc boards from the floor up to about 3-4 feet? You could space them a couple of inches apart so that the kids couldn't climb them and paint them to match your porch primary color.

If I do something on the inside, the outside will look weird.
