    Default Remove Metal Wash Tub

We have a metal wash tub in our laundry room that is old and rotting at the bottom. We want to replace it, but the water pipes run through holes drilled in the back of the frame of the tub. Other than turning off the water, and cutting the pipes, and capping it all off, is there an easier way?

    Can you post a picture?

If the plumbing penetrates the sink, then short of cutting the plumbing you'll have to cut the sink. If you're planning on replacing the sink with a new unit, then keep in mind that you'll have to be able to plumb up the new unit, so if the current plumbing placement and arrangement isn't conducive to that end, you'll be cutting and moving the plumbing anyway.
