Default Airconditioner/heat pump no longer level

My air conditioner sits out back of the house on a hard plastic base. Over time the base and unit are now slanted toward the house and we would like to get it re-leveled but have no idea as to how to lift up the unit to do it or who we should call to have it done if it is one of those things best left to professionals. Right now the unit functions perfectly well so we don't feel we need to be calling a repair person. The house is a ranch with a basement and the house and unit are about 9 years old. Would appreciate any thoughts on how we can correct this before it gets any worse. We are 2 senior citizens but still in good shape so can do some work ourselves.

I don't like the plastic bases. But, that said, the easiest way might be to dig out the front, let it drop and level the unit that way.
Be careful not to kink the refrigeration lines.

If you can raise the low side with wedges or other means, you could then fill the void with low-expansion polyurethane spray foam. Any excess can be trimmed after it cures.
