    Default Replacement Lock set

I need to replace the lockset on my front door. It is the original 1916 front door and measures 2 3/8 inch thick. I have found replacement locksets that have adapter kits available by special order, but the info on these is that they will fit doors up to 2 1/4 inch thick. Would these work on this door that is 1/8 inch thicker?

I would consult with a local door hardware dealer. Not only can they order anything you like, but they should have all kinds of catalogs from which to choose your new lock from. They should also be able to tell you if that extra 1/8" will make a difference or not.
