    Default 1910 Home in Iowa

Hi, I'm about to close on my new house. I'd like to identify the style. It was built in 1910 and is 1-1/2 stories. I've included the interior photo because both the front window and stair railing are supposedly original.

Thanks for helping out a newbie!

It's a plain traditional house with a longitudinal gable roof. The details that I can see (stair railing and porch) are consistent with a 1910-1920 construction date.

Remove not the ancient landmark, which your fathers have set.
