Engineered flooring glue problems
We live in central Florida and moved into a new house about three and a half years ago. We have engineered wood flooring glued down on a concrete slab. We have some areas where the glue has let go and the floor pops when you step on it. Is there anything I can do without taking up the floor in these areas to correct the proplem. The guy who put the floor down came back once shortly after we moved in and fixed a couple of spots with some special nails he had that were very small with no head and he just hammered them in and set them and then put a small amount of putty in the hole and you can't see the hole. I can't find the guy anymore and have not had any luck finding the nails. I don't want to take up any of the floor to fix the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've not heard or seen those nails, but you should be able to find them at any contractors flooring material supply house.
