    Question Tiling a basement shower

I have just purchased a 40 yr old home with full unfinished basement. There is an existing shower drain(concrete floor) with shower plumbing. My question is, I want to enclose the shower with glass block or frame walls and ceramic tile, can I tile directly to the concrete floor? If not...what are your suggestions?

Yes, as long as the concrete floor is clean (i.e. no paint or other materials), you can tile directly onto the concrete using Thin Set.
