    Default Framing on uneven floor

I'm remodeling a house and am extending an existing utility room out to the attached garage the concrete floor in the garage slopes dramatically 1 1/2inches in 7 feet. Do I shim the bottom plate so it is level or do I cut my studs to different heights.

Are you putting in a subfloor?

Yes this area is going to have a shower, washer & dryer I was planning a leder along the existing three walls and perhaps not have any bearing weight on the concrete.

Set the bottom plate on the floor (recommend PT lumber) and cut the studs to fit.
