We have an 1880s house in Boston with what are probably the original front double doors - heavy wood, glass windows. The stain job I did some years back is a mess, and the joints of the panel construction are starting to loosen up a lot. I know I saw an article in TOH sometime back about a company that restores these old doors by re-gluing and web-clamping them; beyond my skills and tools. Updating the old rope and brass spring weatherstripping would be good too. Ideas? Anyone remember which magazine issue? I've tried searchng here and on the web generally, no luck. Thanks.
