Laminate flooring question

I am going to be installing laminate flooring that has the foam installed on the back of each strip. It is going over concrete pad on a filled foundation. There is plastic on top of the fill and the pad is poured directly on the plastic. The concrete pad is painted because we did not plan to do the laminate right away. My question is would it be OK to put down rosin paper first to give the laminate a smoother surface to rest on and to reduce the abrasion on the foam from being directly on concrete. Thank you
