    Default Decora vs. GFCI plates

    Hi there!

I know this question can be answered in 30 seconds by driving to the local hardware store and comparing them, but it's late and this question is picking at my brains.

I have a fancy-schmancy electric timer that requires a "decora" face plate. Can I use a regular GFCI plate, or is this some special plate size? It looks like the size of a GFCI to me, but I'm sure there's a perfectly rational reason to make a completely different sized plate.

    Thanks!

    Something like this?

As Kent said they're the same ..... Decora is pretty much a standard style and size for things like switches and receptacles or in this case a timer to fit the rectangular opening.
