    Default replace window sashes only

i have double pane anderson windows that are 24 years old. i know that anderson windows has a conversion kit to replace the sashes only but are quite expensive. i do not want to remove the entire frame.

does anyone have any ideas that are cost effective to replace these old wooden sashes without tearing out the entire frame? is anyone aware of other manufacuturers that may have sashes that would fit? thank you

With the price of labor, wood, and glass these days any replacement will be expensive. Have you considered refinishing the one you have?
