Default Antique brass kitchen sink drain

I have an antique brass sink drain that came with my antique soapstone sink (I'd really like to use it). The thread is larger than 1.25 inches but smaller than 1.5 inches. Is there a coupling I can use to attach this to my 1.5 inch PVC drain pipe? Maybe a no-hub fitting? Thanks for any insight/advice.

Can you attach photos of the drain set which came with the sink and your existing drain line?

Upload your photos on a host like photobucket, then post your link here.

I've tried 3 times to post a photo link but it's not making it past the moderator. Hopefully they'll get to it soon.

There was an old standard of 1 3/8" drains way back when, and you can get slip rings to adapt them to use with today's 1 1/2" drain size. Look on the web or check with a large plumbing supply house.
