A sudden rain storm came up in the midst of shingling our 100 old house. A combination of moisture leaking through the exposed roof and construction trauma has dampened and in spots loosened large areas of plaster in the rooms below. Will damp plaster dry out sufficiently to be viable or does everything have to be torn down? I see there is lots of help on this site about patching plaster, our main concern now is will it dry and still be intact enough to work with. I thank anyone who has had similar issues in advance for their time in responding to my plea!
