    Default PreCast Concrete Step Issues

Our home has a set of precast concrete steps that were originally sent on a slab of concrete and tight against the house.

Recently I noticed that the precast steps have pulled away from the house, leaving a 1 to 2 inch gap below the door threshold.

How can I remedy this? Try to push the steps back (how)? Should I have the slab underneath mudjacked?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the step is leaning, the bottom is against the foundation but the top is away, you will probably have to jack the slab. If the space is even top to bottom then the step has just moved out and you can push it back. Precast steps are not that heavy, I have used a spud bar to move them by pushing it under the front edge of the step.
