    Unhappy Screaming Toilet

johndooley1957@gmail.comI have a toilet in the basement that sounds like it screams when filling back up. The one way to discourage this is to run the hot water on the stationary tubs. The hot water does not go to the toilet. Is there anyone who may offer assistance in this problem

Usually a water pressure thing. Make sure the angle stop (valve on wall under toilet ) is fully open, then try slowly closing it until the squeal stops and the fill time is still adequate.
