Default How to raise the floor in the garage

Hi, my home had a one car carport that was enclosed and finished as a garage. Now that we are the homeowners we would like to raise the floor up to the rest of the house and finish it as another heated room. How do I begin to raise the concrete floor up to a wood floor? My main concern is that the concrete floor is now sloping from front to back. So I am unsure how to level the floor and raise it. I'm fairly new to home ownership but would like to do some of the work myself. Please advise.

What's the difference in height between the 2 floors?

Are you wanting this new room's floor to be concrete?
