    Default Insulation for overhang

    Hello:
I would like to know if I can put insulation inside the overhang in my split level house. On of the bedrooms over the overhang is too cool in the winter or hot in the summer. We added more insulation all over the attic.
    See attached pictures.
    Thanks

Yes ... insulating this area will make a big difference.
If it's in the budget this would be a perfect application for spray foam insulation.

    hopefully this helps.

Thank you for your advice. I will check the spray foam insulation. Thanks

ask for 2lb closed cell foam for this application. I would'nt recommend the .5lb open cell as this foam may at one time become exposed to the outside elements.
2lb foam has a much higher R-Value when compaired to the .5lb foams.
