    Default Cement Porch

I have a 50 year old house with a cement porch that is starting to crack. What can I do without jackhammering out the old? Can you use composite deck on a front porch? What other options do I have?

Sure you can try renting a jackhammer to bust up the concrete.
It's heavy and hard work depending on how old and thick the concrete is. I tried doing that with the old concrete steps and had been jackhammering for a couple of days not making much progress. Finally I called in a guy with a BobCat which has a jackhammer attachment. For $300 he busted up and removed all the the concrete in a couple of hours.
I don't see why you can't use the composite decking for your front porch.
