    Default Painted Tin in bathroom

I am thinking about installing tin on walls in bathroom surrunding a clawfoot bathtub. Would use steel 2x4 panels which would be, of course treated with a sealer and then painted with enamal. The bathtub would have a shower curtain rod completely around bathtub - so shower curtain would be pulled over tin on wall when taking shower. The bathroom has a window and a upright radiator - so air circulation is ok (but no fan). Has anyone ever seen tin in bathroom? What do you think?? Thank you.

I think that you're creating a maintenance headache. The tin panels will rust in the high humidity environment of a bathroom, starting with the backsides of the panels and the panel edges.

M-Boss sells aluminum panels that would work well here. Good luck!
