    Hello.

Too many categories and too many troublemakers here with multiple identities, I agree.

    Hey lookie here, fellas....

I can post in big font with colors, too.

    Must mean I'm someone of

    GREAT IMPORTANCE

and that my posts have more credence

    than the average guy.

(If nothing else, at least it allows me to impress myself and annoy everyone else.... which is the only reason anyone would do this. Please don't hate me, I just can't stop myself. I'm sure you understand.)

And please allow me to point out that there is much more to the user agreement than those cherry-picked and posted thus far.

    For example -

    Prohibited User Conduct - You warrant and agree that, while using the Web Site and the various services and features offered on or through the Web Site, you shall not: (a) impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any other person or entity;

Public Forums - You further agree

    not to impersonate

    any other person or entity
    ,

    whether actual or fictitious,

Are you thoroughly annoyed with me now? If so, my work here is done for the time being...........as in.... for the next 5- 10 minutes or so. Please don't hate me though. I just need to get attention anyway I can. Negative or positive, doesn't matter. I'm just very, very needy.

I'll be back shortly. Need to do a bit of Googling right now.

you need to try to understand, it isn't that you reply to questions after doing a google search that bothers anyone. its that ones in the trades who deal with these very issues every day understand that certain issues such as outlet spacing even though may sound like 12 foot on center according to code is not interpeted that way by the inspector. and if you read the nec you will see that it leaves the interpetation up to the inspector. and this is done mainly because of on site conditions. for instance you may or may not have used many sets of blue prints on a job. in over 26 years of commercial construction never have I seen one single job go exactally as printed on the plans. plumbers may have brought up the plumbing a couple of inches off, so a wall has to be moved. or a very common one is that on one page the measurements are frame measurements and on another page the measurements are finished measurements. so in just as stated in user agreement you can't substitute for actual advice from a professional. and some of these guys are guys who are actually out in the trades making their living at it. thus professionals

Not a word about Google-ing, nor does it suggest, imply, or state you have the right or obligation to dismiss others opinions that differ from your own.

    Jack,

You've got some great quotes on your signature, what drove you to chose them?

I've had the occasions to read a fair amount of your posts, you've done more than your fair share of being dismissive, insulting and degrading on a number of them.

Keeping it neighborly and helpful might be a wiser course.

On topic, the menu is rather cluttered and disorganized. Consider this a vote for a reorganization and consolidation.
SPAM: never liked it from a can, can't stand it on a board forum. This board needs MODERATORS!

Both are excellent rules to live by. One of course chosen because of my ancestry.

True, and I apologize, but if you'll notice it's only after a long sorted history of being badgered, called names, and having my words or their meaning twisted. And I have been doing my best to keep from being sucked in again. Any insults was a direct reaction to being insulted.

Have been doing my best, but it is difficult with certain posters.

I hope that answers your question and addresses your comment,
