    Question Tub- low water pressure.

One of two downstairs bathtubs has developed, low water pressure. The house was built in 1991, with copper pipes and the valve on the tub is a "Mixet." I do have hard water, but no signs of any build up in the pipes; I removed the spout and looked. The other bathtub pressure is fine.
    Is this a valve problem?

Problem is likely in the tub valve. The internal mixing valve probably has built up hard water scale, and is causing it to get stuck, not allowing the hot water in. You will probably have to take the valve apart and clean or replace the internal mixing valve.
