Default painting ceiling grid in place

Has anybody had any luck at painting existing suspended ceiling grid in place and it look good? my room is 26 X 24 and don't want to replace the grid. what materials are needed? I am in commercial industrial construction and we always trash grid instead of refinishing it. any help is appreciated.

It's done quite often in commercial spaces.
