    Default insulate under house

my house is about 60 yrs old,in the winter the floors are cold and the house is drafty. we were told not to insulate underneath that it would cause our floors to warp and hold moisture. i need your advice.

Howdy the warning of not to insulate is wrong you just do not want to seal the framing members so moisture cannot transfer. so easy to insulate with fiberglass batts as these allow air movement. Might have the amount of insulation checked in the attic and walls prior to floor... caulking at any air infiltration helps bunches too. like around windows and the plate that meets the foundation ...
