We have a 1 year old 1900 sq foot slab on grade bungalow in Ontario CANADA, with a Watts Radiant in-floor heating system. From July 2007 till June 2008 we went thru 4443 litres of propane (at $0.80/litre). It cost us the same to heat this house as it did to heat our previous 100+year old house with an oil fired furnace. Is this normal? I thought in-floor was supposed to be more cost effective...is it more likely that we have a leak somewhere? Would like to hear from anybody about this, or even be able to compare heating costs for a similar home..Cowan
