Any gotchas when shortening a door rough opening?
I purchased an 80" pre-hung door to replace my current exterior door which is over 83" tall. Obviously, I'll need to bring the top of the rough opening down a few inches.
Just looking to see if there are any gotchas or lessons learned that I should know about before proceeding. Thanks!

Howdy then you either have to patch the siding and interior wall finishes or go with a wider trim board to hide the gap.
