    Default wild violets

We are "green" and need a method to control wild violets that doesn't involve resodding, digging out-(there are too many), or using ecologically unfriendly products. Any of you folks have the same problem? Found anything that works?

you probably have acidic soil violets like that. test it for the pH and calcium level and add more calcium. garden lime works watering in now then feed lawn in fall so you get good spring growth to crowd more out, or just live with them. old healthy lawns were full of clover and violets you can eat them if youre keeping organic lawn.
