    Question window insulation

I have a 67 year old brick home but need some insulation for my windows. I have seen advertised interior storm windows by Innerglass. Has anyone ever tried them? Does anyone have any cost effective ideas other than the plastic stuff using a dryer to seal? Thanks for your help.

if they are the old windows you'd be better off replacing them

I would disagree with the, "replacement if they are old" ...unless the windows are rotting or have other damage. The return on investment with windows (from energy savings) is 20+ years where I live (in northern MN). You are better off investing in good quality, tight fitting storms.

I don't have any recommendations for specific brands as I'm searching for that myself.
