Default I have a sagging porch (4-6 inches) and am looking to jack it up

The jacks will be there permanently. I'm not looking at replacing the porch for now. I was given an estimate of $900. Has anyone else had done this and had success? I'm curious about the bid. Anyone else out there had experience in this process.

Could you provide more info, & a photo or two if you have them.

Hard to comment on the limited info in the post.

What are the dimensions of the porch...wood or concrete base;does the sag involve a porch roof; what's causing the sag & what needs replacing????

Can you describe what the contractor said he would do to make the repair.

Thumbs up Re: I have a sagging porch (4-6 inches) and am looking to jack it up

i have a porch that rises in winter and lowers in summer.i am well below frost line but it still does it.so what i did was put bottle jacks on each of the cement posts and have jacks half way up so i can raise and lower accornly.it works.so i think your jacks would do the trick.
