Best way to build up plaster to a thickness of ¾+ inches?
Had to remove some of the plaster and metal mesh during remodel, gap is from floor to ceiling, about 4 to 6 inches wide and existing plaster is about ¾ inch thick. The plaster is on a block wall and will inside corner to new drywall. Can I get away with steel mesh corner and multi coats of compound or would plaster be better to prevent cracking?
better yet is there a fancy new spray that will fix, feather and sand?
Any info would be great.
