    Default Basement floor drain

I am putting a apd and indoor/outdoor carpet on my basement floor. There is one drain tile, which I do not know where it leads to. I put water down it and it flowed somewhere. Should I do something with this drain before laying the carpet? Thanks

There are caps available for floor drains. You need to go to a plumbing supply place. Measure the size of the drain and measure the distance between teh screws. Then you can find a cap that will fit.
