I have a hallway 12 inch floor tile that has a chip on it's corner. From what I've seen on "This Old House" article it advises me to use masonry bits to drill holes 1 inch apart on the diagonal and then use a 1" chisel to crack the tile on the diagonal and then pry the pieces loose. I find this to be very time consuming and find that there has to be a better way to do this.
Please tell me if anyone has tried this method.
1- Remove the grout around the broken floor.
2-Use a nail set and a hammer to crack the tile.
Thank you all for your input.
