I have a cement walkway that apparently wasn't made very well. I think it is not more than 10 years old, but it is crumbling away. I thought our only option was to remove it all and start over, but am wondering if I can lay a flat stone walkway over the top of it.
Anyone with any experience with this?
I was thinking about cleaning off all the loose rock, and using cement to both level it, and lay down some pre-cut (square/rectangular) stone that is at least 1" thick.
We live in Western WA, so our temps range from 30 - 80, and is most often right about 55.
