Default Cost to raise house and pour footings?

I've got a 1,000 sf wood-framed house in Charleston, SC built in 1940 over crawlspace. The house sits on cinderblocks - no footings. I want to add a second floor and so need to pour footings to handle the additional load. Anyone have ballpark idea of cost to raise the house temporarily and have footings constructed? Is raising the house even necessary?

Sorry I couldn't give a price for your area .... in answer to raising the house....
it will be required to some degree to shore it for performing the work for the footings.
Likely the existing cinderblocks will need to be removed and footings placed in that area.
