Default Using Plastic Pipe For Ductwork

I remember back approximately 20 years ago, Bob Vila was introducing some kind of PVC (or other plastic) ducting material to run from plenum to room registers. Is anyone aware of such a material? It seems the ducting pipe was 2-2.5".

If you know of the stuff, would you let me know the manufacturer? Is it low toxicity?
    Thanks.

there is a flexy duct out there on the market. You might go to a HVAC Supply House and ask at the parts counter.
    Process of elimination. Good luck.
