    Question Titanium or not?

Have been hearing a lot from different places and a couple of carpenters about the Stiletto titanium hammers. After swinging a steel Estwing for most of the last 28 years I would like to know others opinions of the Stiletto hammers with the hickory handles. I am looking at the 14oz. I have seen both good and bad reviews and would like some input from the carpenters here. I have had cortisone shots in my right elbow in the past and don't want to repeat that experience! Do the Stilettos really help? Any other hammer you would recommend for shock resistance? I do prefer a hickory handle if I am going to switch.

    Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the info jKirk. I was wondering about the size of the heads. They don't look to practical for trim. I do a lot of remodeling and I would prefer to use the same hammer for most of what I do. I did find a Stiletto 12oz. that they claim can hit like a 21oz. Not sure about that.
